![]() I watched as streamers played through the game and seeing them learn and overcome was fun and exciting to watch but I still found myself debating what to do, until I seen my friends list gradually start playing Elden ring one by one and decided to jump in. Dark souls, demon's souls etc are all well renowned for this, so I initially felt uneasy as I didn't want to smash a controller through my brand new tv. It's almost gaming lore at this point that these games can be unfairly hard and will almost always make you rage. ![]() ![]() For many years all I seemed to hear about this studio was the truly punishing difficulty that they implement into their games. This mod seems to deal with this however it's also using dxgi. This is my first 'From Software' game. I hope that you can find a way to add stability to that detail in a later build. Elden ring has a ridiculous amount of fine detail, so i imagine even a perfectly implemented dlss would have a hard time. So it's the dlss itself that's causing the massive flickering in foliage and grass. However even running at 2560x1440 (which is the same as dlss quality 4k) the image stability was a lot better than dlss. I turned off dlss, and enabled nvidia image scaling, which is usually dramatically inferior to dlss in most games. ![]() And there seems to be an issue with the games ssao. Grass in particular has a very hard time with image stability, with the ssao and grass shader both creating a lot of visual noise. the original might have more visual instability on fine edges like tree branches, however it looks a lot more detailed than even DLAA, more than i can reproduce with sharpening, dlss looks very downgraded, more than most dlss games ive seen. "balanced" dlss mode goes completely crazy, lots of whole screen shimmering Major flickering on grass when rotating the camera in all DLSS modes, including native dlss mode (which i presume is DLAA) However there's definately some issues with the beta. Obviously I'm a fan of your work, and will continue to be. I wanted to give a bit of critical feedback. Tried it out and it's awesome! thanks so much for all the hard work to get this working ![]() Borderless Fullscreen Disables HDR, is there anyway to keep HDR and use the mod, sir? ![]()
